arch is everything bad about the mainstream distros and everything uncomfortable about the funky indie distros, but with like 3 of the the good bits
[Void Linux paired with MX Linux's installer and GUI-based config tools could probably be one of the better options (Moid Linux, if you will)]

@rose@pl.pinkro.se @moses_izumi@fe.disroot.org I like the Pacman package manager the most and am currently on Artix as a result of that but I am also considering switching again at some point but I don't know what to. I like Void fine for the most part but the package selection is kinda weak IMHO and Gentoo is cool but I genuinely just do not vibe with how Portage works. For the record, yes, I know about the weird conspiracism many Artix users take part in. It seems to be nearly unavoidable in any Linux distribution space that doesn't use systemd (I even saw a bit of it in Void Linux spaces). I try to just ignore the noise.
