@daemonspudguy @rose@pl.pinkro.se @moses_izumi@fe.disroot.org I'm actually running Devuan on my laptop right now (systemd-free Debian). After lots of distro hopping, I realized I'm not limited to the built-in package manager. I use APT + manual .debs + occasional source builds. Building from source is technically faster than AUR anyways. Nix package manager is another option. It works on any distro, init system doesn't matter. Arch+Nix is a known combo if you want Pacman + broader selection. Its much safer than AUR. Also, yeah, the conspiracy crowd latching onto non-systemd distros is unfortunately real. I saw it with Devuan too. Lunduke frames it as "non-woke Debian." Fuck that. I'll use what I want. I just ignore the noise and use what works as long as its not made by terrible people.
