@nyquildotorg@gts.nyquil.org afaik none of the mainstream BSDs have anything systemd-like in their standard configuration if you want to avoid wayland, openbsd maintains their own X11 fork as part of their base system wayland is still pretty green on all of the BSDs ime, though, so X11 is probably the better-supported way to go. i think only freebsd has any imminent plans to have a KDE wayland environment ready out-of-the-box, and even that isn't quite there yet as of 15.1
