@kaneel@mas.to @tante@tldr.nettime.org I might say people choose whatever they are given, most of the time When the alternative is dim and not backed by the government it's very hard to "choose" - it builds infrastructure not citizens anymore... Compare dependency on private cars - I've been in Belgium, France and Netherlands then to the UK, which has the worst "choice" to ditch cars - and it looks like it's impossible to live without it at all. The AI bulshit is already beyond the computer science and technology

    @sharlatan@mastodon.social @tante@tldr.nettime.org don't get me started on cars, even in France there are areas that are hardly accessible if you don't own a car. Worst than AI, we're slowly moving to a world where owning a "smart" phone will be mandatory if citizen want to access to basic shits such as voting, banking, travelling or just, proving their rights as citizen.
