We must always keep one important thing in mind to help Fediverse grow. The problem with the best-known social platforms is not the fact that companies and brands are there. Nor is it commercial exploitation. The thing is that they are algorithmically manipulated platforms that ostentatiously collect user data. Then there is the exploitation of our data and the algorithmic manipulation that pushes content we do not subscribe to. There is nothing wrong with having brands here.
