Irrespective of how awful and criminal a person Netanyahu is, Mamdani is spouting nothing but pandering nonsense about wanting to arrest him. The International Criminal Court warrant has no power here since the U.S. is not a signatory, and Netanyahu has diplomatic immunity. So even though Netnayahu is a horrible person, Mamdani is just playing to the crowd in a deeply disingenuous manner.

@lauren@mastodon.laurenweinstein.org yep. Fidel Castro was allowed to come to the UNGA without harassment for many years. Netanyahu's no different.
