@sinabhfuil@mastodon.ie that’s a minor issue, we’ve had motorbike tax disc holders forever. Not sure how the validity of whatever they contain could be checked easily though without the scooters having an actual registration plate. The Gardaí will still have to stop them to check, then check ID of the rider to see if they are the insured person. Seems like this is just adding more stuff for the sake of being seen to ‘do something’.
