I bought a TV and it wouldn't let me past the first setup screen unless I installed an app and gave it Internet access. I figured as much... What I didn't expect was that they would be so explicit about their spying: a big message popped up warning me that the TV channel I was watching would collect viewing data. Fuck you guys. F.u.c.k.y.o.u. Tomorrow I'll set up the rules in pfSense so I can virtually give all these bastards the middle finger. I feel like Don Quixote fighting windmills. #privacy
