@Omega_Scribet@mementomori.social There is another owner, and that owner is ”suppleant” in the board of both companies, basically a board member that only has voting power if the regular board member is unavailable.
The two owners own 50% each of the parent company, which means that they have to agree for changes to be made to the board, so it’s not possible to get rid of him that way either.

@ahltorp@mastodon.nu Thanks. That info makes this latest Mullvad statement ridiculous. "Mullvad will continue to keep its values and mission separate from the broader views of its founders." Eh? Who's talking? 🤪 Daniel should at least have stepped down if he and this other fellow, one Fredrik Strömberg, were serious about Mullvad's values being different. Right. We're out. No more money to Mullvad and Mullvad's CEOs from September onwards.
