@lproven@social.vivaldi.net Valve has been doing a lot around Linux and third-party support. If it succeeds in stabilizing the SteamOS/Linux environment for third-party games on its peripherals and PC, it will own the space.

I am not wild about modern KDE, or indeed Btrfs, but if SteamOS can deliver a solid fault-tolerant immutable Linux, like ChromeOS but versatile, not cloud-based but standalone, and able to run Windows apps _well_, then I think it could become a very big deal. A real game-changer for desktop Linux.
