Half a century into the Information Age and a significant part of humankind seems to be in sorcerer's apprentice mode, with no sorcerer in sight to set things right in the end.
A rather uncomfortable thought...
Don't skip the classes on the Neolithic Revolution and the Industrial Revolution.
They all teach many direct lessons for today.
Also uncomfortable.

@vnikolov@ieji.de Many of my fellow Americans tell me "things will get crazy during the apocalypse" and that later "Jesus will come". So the identity of the sorcerer is already assigned, and this is how they are programmed not to care. Although, actually they do care and get upset when things do not appear to be getting worse...
