Ooh, looks like Tele2 (and their flanker brand Comviq) will be the first ones to enable #RCS messaging on #iOS in #Sweden.
The latest iOS 27.0 beta 4 enables RCS in the carrier bundles (profiles). Uses Jibe.
Haven't tested yet, don't have a spare device that can be upgraded to iOS 27 sadly.

The state of #RCS centralisation is quite sad: out of 87 carrier bundles in #iOS 27.0 beta 4 that indicate RCS support, 74 use Google Jibe. A large benefit of the traditional telephony, SMS/MMS messages etc is that they're not centralised, one generally has multiple carriers in the area that can act as redundant options. RCS is largely provided by a single entity :/ #Apple
