@georgetakei@universeodon.com It is apparent from his Cabinet picks that Burnham is just Starmer with better PR—in particular the right-wing immigrant bashing will continue with Mahmood staying in the Home Office. Labour is no longer a left-wing party, hasn't been since 2019, and Mamdani should be a model for the UK to follow, not vice versa. (Speaking as a UKan.)
