I'm so baffled by companies thinking I'd want to sign up for their texts. I already get your spam emails, why would I junk up my phone, too?
Like, who in the meeting thought this was a winning idea?

@abetterjulie@wandering.shop I've been thinking a lot about how emails just work in the US. You sign up for an account, the account wants an email, then they send you garbage unrelated to anything you are doing. And they wonder why I don't want to give them my phone number?
