This is not a trade war with Canada, these are defensive measures. Oh fuck off, the Trump administration has been engaging a trade war with their closest allies since the start of his second term. Defensive my ass, you assholes started this whole thing! The fact is that the US needs Canada and throwing a hissy fit because Canada wasn't going to bend over and cave is going to hurt both Americans and Canadians because Trump wanted to play the tough guy. Canada really needs to diversify our economy, being over reliant on the US is a huge vulnerability.
