Why make it obviously edited? Should be using this as opportunity to sway his supporters.

Just to answer somewhat more seriously, his supporters respect strength and taking power. They believe in inequality as the morally correct belief, and as the emperor Trump can do and say whatever he wants. Even threads like this would be seen as a net positive propaganda win for Trump and his base. “Yeah that’s right, we shit on everybody! Wanna join in?”
