One of the many things I hate about Elon Musk is the fact that if I had been handed as much wealth and privilege as he has at a certain time during my mental and emotional development, I might very well have turned out like him. I mean, look back at your past, imagine the cringiest version of yourself you can remember. Then imagine never having any reason to grow beyond that. So this is to say, I really, *really* hate that we've organized our society in such a way that it's possible for a person to amass a development arresting amount of wealth and privilege. Anyone who claims to be against Musk, but supports the status quo that made someone like him not just possible, but inevitable, is fundamentally dishonest and has no place in helping decide how we move forward from here.
