@kajer@infosec.exchange @Viss@mastodon.social Yep. That's a Windows misfeature I turned off a long time ago on my one remaining obligatory Windows PC. It's right up there on the never-should-have-existed feature list with the Windows Platform Binary Table (which lets hardware inject into the OS directly, rather than hijacking the driver discovery and installation/upgrade process).
