I'm not currently trying to reimplememt LINK-80 or L80. I'm just trying to load REL files into a simulator.
However, I will take the idea under advisement, since by the time I'm done, I'll have a large part of what would be needed.

@stefanie@social.anoxinon.de As I've progressed more in developing and debugging my .REL loader code (which of course has to have at least _some_ linking support), I've started to more seriously consider turning it into a full linker, with support for .IRL and .PRL/.SPR. Just what I needed, another side quest. I don't plan to support the poorly documented extended relocation items needed for COBOL-80, though.
