@brouhaha@mastodon.social FWIW, I've sometimes had dreams of a CP/M-like OS that had a Forth kernel inside, and exposed a Forth-like interface as a part of its API, so a lot of its apps' auxiliary files such as configuration and user scripts were text files. Slightly Unix-like as user convenience went, but without the cost of going full Fuzix.

@riley@toot.cat @brouhaha@mastodon.social If I can finish my planned ITX board, I totally want it to run fuzix. But I'd be interested in other OSs as well. The thing is: I have limited time. I already have CP/M 2 and 3 on the list, then MP/M next. Fuzix and TRS-DOS are other candidates. But with the recent changes in EU duties policy, it might not be possible anymore.
