This is a real intervention point, but a lot of leaders don't realize it. If you're thinking about overhauling how you see skill and assessment especially in this era, I've helped teams bring human-centered assessment science to disrupt their tautologies.

But you can do the beginning of a skills inventory right now. Get some paper. Think about a typical work week. Or, if your work varies a lot between weeks, think about 1 recent week & repeat a few times. Write down 3 main "types" of work you do over that period. There may be more, but to start.
