@barefootrambling@autistics.life @eoinmorris@mastodon.ie @autistics@fedigroups.social Thank you for the compliment ๐ Yes, and there is something else: As a little child I was told, when I hear that sound in the streets, I have to stop immediately and look around where the car comes from, because these cars may go faster then all the others and they may go over red lights. This was kind of burned into my brain. Of course it's of no use when one is sitting in a flat on the 5th level ๐

@barefootrambling@autistics.life @atarifrosch@fedifreu.de @autistics@fedigroups.social I think that is a very valid point on the predictability of the sounds. Also, sirens by there very nature are designed so that they are hard to ignore so I guess with a sound sensitivity they would be hellish
