@netbsd@mastodon.sdf.org are actual mc68k chips still being made? I thought ColdFire replaced them. Or are people using FPGAs to make m68k softCPUs?

@hyc@mastodon.social @netbsd@mastodon.sdf.org m68k CPUs have long being discontinued but you can still buy legacy ColdFire ones (though no new ones have been made in 10+ years). Most of the m68k action now is softcores on FPGAs.
