@alexisbushnell@toot.wales Last time I ran a game with a minmaxer, I was considering the same options. I decided to do nothing, and let them have their way, since it just shortened their time in the spotlight. From there I put all my focus into making sure everyone else had a good time. This was for a swashbuckling game though, so splitting the party or having 1 on 1 duels allowed for that kind of focus on individuals, I don't know how well it would work for D&D.
