My nest pucks tests themselves every month. Its quite nice. They beep and check if the others can hear it.

Surprised they still work. Nest smoke alarms are a dead product. Find something better now to replace them with. They were amazing tech created by a Boulder start-up to reinvent home safety, but Google murdered them. Already EOL and discontinued.
