@wdormann@infosec.exchange That's the issue with all Weir's books. A big part of them is the protagonist's stream of consciousness, which explains scientific concepts, practical hypotheses that stem from them, and how they would work in the specific setting. It's impossible to recreate that on screen. That's why the movies are better appreciated and understood if watched after reading the book.
