Every time I see friends post excitedly about going to the USA for a holiday, it takes all my fucking effort to not reply "Enjoy the fascism! Hope they don't arbitrarily arrest you and put you in indefinite detention!"

@backupbear@aus.social I don't know if the US is more fascist then other countries, but far as I can tell, 99.9% of world cup visitors had a great time
