What really annoys me about all the attempts to make #AI replace the coder is that they miss the simple fact that code is a language and languages live only when they are spoken. Programs are not mere instructions, they are languages used to describe certain models of the world. From punch cards, to C, to Python, each language exists to convey a model space. And the reason we invented them is because natural languages suck at precision work. Always have, always will.
