@futzle@old.mermaid.town this reminds me that, as a sort of tweak to the noses of conventional astrologers, I'd come up with a basis set of variable stars to model the ups and downs of life. it makes about as much sense as using the planets as a basis, and there's such choices available! do you know where Algol's light-curve was when you were born?
