Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.
I added context to be more descriptive, and it still fairly describes the link’s contents. Without the change, the title reads,
Mitch McConnell reveals fall led to hospitalization after weeks of silence
The rule abides.
Or to put it another way, I not only adhered to the posted rules of the community after taking time to read and understand them, I left a note directing the mods to the change. And I guarantee that if I had not been so openly honest, you would never have even noticed the three words I added.
If you allow editing titles so long as it doesn’t change the meaning,
I’m not posting in that community, I’m posting in this one, /c/politics on lemmy.world, where the rule reads as I quoted above, can be easily verified by a glance at the sidebar, and where I personally don’t have any say in creating or enforcing them.
