@thedarktangent@defcon.social OK, just checked out RT and I think I was wrong. RT probably uses a predefined salt but all the hash chains are just random gibberish, so still no potential for compression as far as I can see. Sure, I could look this stuff up but from my understanding the idea of compression is bullshit.
