Also, relieving Ed of command and sending him back solo? What the heck? Having a solo astronaut on the base or in the CSM is *hugely* dangerous; if anything goes wrong they don't have a buddy to save them. I get that in this alternate timeline NASA is taking more risks, but *voluntarily* having unbuddied crew on lunar missions feels like an unacceptable level of risk.

My goodness, what happened this season? There seems to be a *lot* of motivation attributed to people who are working a two-year mission for the hazard pay as a job away from their families. There's a *big* difference between going on strike because conditions aren't fair, and going along with whatever BS Ed and Dev have cooked up. Plus, if you have the delta-V to move an asteroid from trans-Earth injection to Mars orbit, surely that means after refueling and re-anchoring you've also got the delta-V to move the asteroid from Mars orbit back to trans-Earth. Sure, you might have to wait until the next transfer window opens, and there's logistics and so on, but this is a show that's aimed squarely at space nerds. You can't gloss over this. Am I missing something?
