@CivilCorvid@bark.lgbt I just read that part about Indie Rates, and apparently, because this game is not really a huge corporate project, it would classify as indie, and because I'm in the US, I would have to be paid every hour. I think they asked for a budget of $250, but reading that on the audition post, I wondered if I should be cheaper so that I can meet the budget they ask for. I may have misread that line, but if they intend to pay 250 bucks per hour, then I'm bouta get them muns! That is if I didn't shoot myself in the foot lol.

    @iivoltagewolf@bark.lgbt A budget of $250 for an indie game would probably be total, and for it to be "fair" it'd probably be 5 or so hours of recording. Though it really depends on exactly how "indie" they'd be. I've heard of rates as low as around $20/hr but YMMV. My only experiences are second-hand through audiodramas - which are usually hobby projects or student pojects.
