@HeavenlyPossum@kolektiva.social Blanqueamiento is a thing about Argentina that I discovered recently. It might be translated as "enwhitenment." White supremacism is such a drug. Assuming (which is by no means guaranteed) that we agree that racism (believing in the idea of race) is why Argentina attacked the Malvinas/Falkland Islands, I think that it also explains why Japan got involved in WW2. It's all trickle-down racism.
