Made a pitstop at a random McDonald's off pearblossum highway and was treated to what might be the most pleasant surprise of the trip so far. Ordered an apple pie, expected the current "healthier" baked apple pie that every McDonald's has served since the mid 90s. nope! These fuckers are still frying their apple pies. Said baked on the menu, said baked on the box. Fried apple pie. Old school, too, with the little air bubbles. Last time I had one of those was probably 1998?
