I'm trying to figure out how to use a dip pen, and for that purpose I'm tracing manga that was drawn with a dip pen. Apparently, after drawing a 100 pages like that I should be very confident with the pen. So far I'm on my fifth or sixth page. The dip pen feels more powerful than a semi-auto I used on a shooting range once. It is far more satisfying, too, especially when I can follow a stroke perfectly, or I have a hunch how the original author decided to put the stroke there in a specific way. I guess 95 pages to go? P.S. Yokohama shopping log is very nice
