@ashten@woem.men The actual date codes on the individual components are perhaps more useful. They're formatted as YDDD where Y is the last digit of the year and DDD is days since January 1st. So 3201 would mean manufactured on the 201st day of a year ending in 3 (hopefully 2023, unless you're getting ripped off by someone selling stuff that's been sitting around since 2013).

    @ashten@woem.men I think some vendors have started using a longer, less ambiguous code of YYDDD with a two-digit year but everything I have in my inventory is the 4-digit format
