@FenouilMental@gayfr.social Since you can set a post language, I'd advise doing, say, a reply to yourself with the other language (I'd think French in your case) and setting that particularly to French as the language, that way in the post details we can see what language it is. I hope in the future there will be clients out there that will auto-translate based on language or how the text is and intelligently translating into our locale. Kind of crazy I know but just an interesting idea, I can't see that not happening now with AI being very mainstream nowadays...

@ChrisDuffley@mastodon.chrisduffley.com thanks! Here I've just posted both side by side. I guess if I see my followers mostly speak one of the two languages I'll do a main post in that and a reply in the other. Yeah, ideally I'd love a way to translate the messages myself and have them show to the right people. Not sure how many people have set up a language filter, I think it's a thing here? I suppose lots of French people here also read English so there would be double messages either way
