@notjustbikes@social.notjustbikes.com @uxMark@cosocial.ca tbf there's even some kind of progress in motorist cities it's way slower, and it's only due to hard battles of a couple of dedicated people (like @PVPkoopDD@dresden.network in dresden) but there is progress I really wish it would be faster, but it sometimes helps to realize the past was… even worse.

I've had people point to US cities and show me the 30 miles of new protected bike lanes as an example of progress. Meanwhile it took them 15 years to build them and in that time they built a new freeway and demolished 300 acres of farmland to build suburbs. That's not "progress."
