Continuing to go through boxes in my garage
I find a signed mint condition first edition of _Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone_ from when JKR did a reading in San Francisco in 1998
eBay says it's worth north of $1000
What's the moral thing to do here? Do I toss it in the trash with the rest of the JKR books, or sell it and donate the money to a pro trans organization?

@kims@mas.to Hmm. How about have a raffle for who gets to put it through the shredder before you burn it?, and donate THAT money to a Trans charity?

@kims@mas.to Since JKR won’t see a dime of the proceeds, sell & donate.

@kims@mas.to sell it! Bonus you’re donating to a good cause. Also you’re driving down the price.
