I moved recently, which reminded me that I should update my domain info too. However, the registered email was my old school email, which I lost access to a decade ago... So, I sent an email to my hosting support. The good thing: they changed my address and email without any further verification. The bad thing: to steal my domain, the only thing someone would need is my SMTP server credentials (assuming they bother to check the DKIM signature).
