i've got some good news and some bad news
good news is, i have the G4 Cube in parts right now
bad news is, the female JST connector for the fan is absolutely gunched
good news is, the G4 Cube didn't come with a fan to begin with and the fan probably didn't function for most of the time i've owned it anyhow
bad news is, i have to spend $10 dollhairs on a replacement SMT male connector to put on the VRM

right, roughed up the metal DVD eject roller shaft and applied adhesive for the rollers to get more purchase on discs
