@alice Well couples don't attach them to bridges and fences for you to have a cheap source of locks 😂 And the fate of these locks is a heavy duty cutter clipping the metal and thus destroying the lock and recycles with all the other old metal. So the symbolic gesture is as self-delusional as many promises at the altar but with the locks it is waste of resources. Sure lock sellers love the tradition for obvious reason. But where is the romance in that.
