It's a Sundstrand Data Control 109400-0001 Digital Flight Data Recorder manufactured July 30th 1970, with the serial number 1002. I suspect it never actually flew, or was assigned to a test aircraft due to the lack of certification number stamped on. It's roughy contemporary with the 747-100, which would have been entering production around that time here in the Seattle area.
