At #Blissfest this year, both my volunteer shifts went to the Kids area. We set up various arts and crafts for them to do. It lets them exercise some creativity, and sometimes we can sneak in useful skill learning. It's very freeform though. One of the activities ended up being a variant of "worry dolls" (Muñecas quitapenas). This is a doll that one can whisper their worries to and the doll will let them be free of the worries overnight. Practically, it is basically a confidant, and some of these kiddos had strong opinions on what makes such an entity trustworthy. Kids at this festival are feral to an extent (absolutely delightful).
