I do wonder if those who are relaxed about a single national id tied to all of your data understand how relational databases work, growing government authoritarianism and managerialism, the lessons of history, issues around data quality, statutory trade offs of data usage for finding small groups of people, or the actions of current governments' misuse of the data they have.
