RE: https://the.bisexuals.town/@leifur/116943540810914620 My experience with renting a car in Iceland 11 years ago was a few minutes of paperwork followed by an extended lecture on where we could and could not drive the car, including detailed info on what would happen if we disregarded the lecture, and a lengthy talk about not relying on GPS and buying a paper map of the island so we didn't accidentally go somewhere we shouldn't. It was so strongly emphasised that I still have the map.
