like you have one input that simultaneously manipulates two disparate interfaces! why would this ever seem like a good situation to stay in!

idk what it's like on mobile chrome or safari but in my experience the entire mobile web is this gelatinous mess sliding around like a sandwich with too much mayo on it and everyone with stakes just acts like it's not like that

@kirakira@furry.engineer I always feel that UI/UX people are gaslighting me when they state that modality (e.g., vi) is bad but context sensitivity is somehow good, when they're the same thing, except that the former is explicit about what it will do, while the latter is mostly implicit.
