The new charges take the total for Andrew to 42, and Tristan to 19.
It's possible that the UK will take the opportunity to have the extradition carried out by the United States, so that they can be detained and stand trial sooner rather than later.
Although the Romanians have agreed to extradite them, they will only do so after their trial for human trafficking is concluded. But there's still no trial date, despite the pair being indicted in June 2023.

Meanwhile despite being wanted for numerous sex crimes in two countries, the Tates have been allowed to live freely and even enjoy overseas travel outside of the European Union. This in spite of them still having more than adequate resources to be considered serious international flight risks. Worth remembering that the Tates have enjoyed support from some well known political figures in the UK.
