@umbrella@aus.social iirc this is kind of a solved problem with airplanes? Hm. To access a countries EEZ ships have to comply with standards now only applying in territorial waters or even the ones for docking in a country's ports? Including through straits now treaty-bound to be open international shipping lanes (such as into the Baltic Sea).
